Some Hillside Elementary teachers & their principal, Torrie Maas, went to the Peloton Teacher Appreciation Tour with Jess Sims! As a former educator herself, Jess knows exactly what it takes to show up for our students every day. Because of this, they had more than a workout. It was a celebration of the grit, heart, and determination that our teachers bring to the halls of FPS!

Highlights & Takeaways:
- Jess shared her "You can do hard things" mantra, reminding us that educators are the ultimate athletes.
- Staff had a chance to fill their own cups so they can continue pouring into our students.
- Shared stories about lesson plans and classroom magic with a pro who’s been in the trenches.

We are so proud of our team for prioritizing their wellness and representing FPS with such high energy. 💪

Last week, Vibe Credit Union partnered with Farmington Central High School to bring an interactive Reality Fair experience to our students. Through hands-on budgeting activities and real-life financial scenarios, students gained valuable insight into managing money, making financial decisions, and navigating the responsibilities of adulthood.

Experiences like these help prepare our students for success beyond the classroom, and we are thankful to Vibe Credit Union for their commitment to supporting financial literacy and helping our students succeed.

Celebrating excellence across Farmington Public Schools!

The FPS Awards of Excellence recognize students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, exemplary citizenship, and meaningful involvement in school activities. Originally established as the Superintendent’s Awards of Excellence during the 1992-93 school year, this tradition continues to honor students who make a positive impact in their schools and communities.

Students from across the district were recognized alongside honored staff members who help support student success every day. Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients on this well-deserved achievement!
