Summer School

The High School Virtual / Online Summer school program offers NEW credit courses for those students looking to free up more room in their schedules during the school year and REPEAT credit for those students looking to improve a grade or gain remedial credit.  An optional in-person learning lab offers additional opportunities for tutoring and focused support.

BOTH registration AND payment must be completed prior to the registration deadline. Payments made without registering will be refunded.

Incoming 9th-grade students through exiting 12th-grade students, enrolled FPS students AND non-FPS students are eligible to enroll.

Once registration begins and you have already registered for a virtual course, you will receive login information and further details by the first day of class. *Courses are not available to begin before the first day of class*.

For planning purposes, incoming 9th-grade students and 10-12th-grade students are able to register for the following *new* credit summer courses:

• Lifetime Fitness (Physical Education)
• Health
• Civics 
• Economics

For students needing *repeat* high school credit, the following courses are available:

• Algebra 1A /B, Algebra 2 A/B
• Geometry A/B
• English Literature 9, 10, 11, 12 A/B
• Biology A/B
• Conceptual Science A/B
• World History A/B
• US History A/B

Explore, examine, play, learn!

The Elementary Summer Enrichment Camp features a variety of hands-on, active, and learning-focused sessions for students in grades K-5 in a summer-camp-like atmosphere! Featuring small class sizes, taught by certified teachers, and the flexibility to enroll in part-day, half-day, or full-day - K-5 Enrichment Camp has something for everyone!

Join us for a week-long hands-on science camp in partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame! This full-day camp for K-5 students features fun-packed experiments, engineering challenges, and the chance to bring out their inner scientist and inventor!

A three-week reading camp, bringing the Wonder of science to literacy, addressing foundational skills and reading comprehension through engaging nonfiction text.  Enrollment is by invitation only to identified FPS 1st through 4th-grade students.

A two-week play-based camp designed for Incoming Kindergarteners to build oral language and literacy skills, and experience the routines of school to have a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten. Enrollment is by invitation only to identified FPS incoming Kindergarten students.
