Summer School

The High School Virtual / Online Summer school program offers NEW credit courses for those students looking to free up more room in their schedules during the school year and REPEAT credit for those students looking to improve a grade or gain remedial credit.  An optional in-person learning lab offers additional opportunities for tutoring and focused support.

Registration: Not yet open. Online registration will take place June 16 - June 25th at Noon. No late registrations accepted.

Incoming 9th grade students through exiting 12th grade students, enrolled FPS students AND non-FPS students are eligible to enroll.

Once registration begins and you have already registered for a virtual course, you will receive login information and further details by the first day of class.  *Courses are not available to begin prior to the first day of class*.

Class Dates: Wed, July 2nd - Wed, July 30th. 

Learning Lab Location: North Farmington High School (Please do not call North Farmington).  

For planning purposes, incoming 9th grade students and 10-12th grade students are able to register for the following *new* credit summer courses:

• Lifetime Fitness (Physical Education)
• Health
• Civics 
• Economics

For students needing *repeat* high school credit, the following courses are available:

• Algebra 1A /B, Algebra 2 A/B
• Geometry A/B
• English Literature 9, 10, 11, 12 A/B
• Biology A/B
• Conceptual Science A/B
• World History A/B
• US History A/B

The Elementary Summer Enrichment Camp features a variety of hands-on, active, and learning-focused sessions for students in grades K-5 in a summer-camp like atmosphere!   Featuring small class sizes, taught by certified teachers, and the flexibility to enroll in part day, half day, or full day - K-5 Enrichment Camp has something for everyone!

A three-week reading camp, bringing the Wonder of science to literacy, addressing foundational skills and reading comprehension through engaging nonfiction text.  Enrollment is by invitation only to identified FPS 1st through 4th grade students.

Student's families will be contacted in the spring if their student is eligible to attend.  Please do not email to request enrollment, this program is by invitation only based on reading need.

A two-week play-based camp designed for Incoming Kindergarteners, to build oral language and literacy skills, and experience the routines of school in order to have a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.  Enrollment is by invitation only to identified FPS incoming Kindergarten students.
