2021 Summer School Information

  • Registration for 2021 summer school is now open! 

    If you have any inquiry about summer school, please email the supervisor of the specific program you are interested in, and include your student’s full name, grade, and the program or courses you are inquiring about, so that we may best assist you.  

    For all programs, in-person programming will follow District COVID-19 mitigation and safety protocols.   Masks and daily COVID-19 symptom screening will be required, as well as social distancing practiced whenever possible.    

    FPS Students enrolled in a virtual summer course should check out a Chromebook from their home school to use over the summer.


    High School Summer School

    Dates: July 6th - August 3rd, 2021 

    Registration:

    Repeat Credit Registration & Booster Courses:
    Registration closed Friday, July 2.   No late registrations accepted.

    New Credit Courses:
    New Credit Registration is now closed.

    Students may register for ONE new credit course OR up to two repeat-credit courses only.

    Courses are self-paced and virtual through the Edgenuity system, with support from Farmington Public Schools teachers.   Repeat Credit, New Credit, and new Booster Courses are available.   All courses including access to the in-person learning lab at Farmington High School.  Repeat Credit and booster courses to help prepare students for the next grade level are available at no charge to Farmington Public School students! Payment and registration is not accepted in person.  All students must register online and pay through RevTrak.

    If you have already registered for a virtual course, you will receive login information and further details by the first day of class.

    Please note: A student may not repeat a class for the purpose of obtaining a better grade when he/she has already successfully completed a higher-level course in the same subject area. Any student seeking to repeat a class, having already passed it with the grade of A, B or C must first obtain the approval of their home school administrator.  Upon retaking a class, the higher grade will be used to calculate the grade point average. Please also note, high school foreign language classes are not available in summer.


    Middle School Summer School and Camp

    Registration closed Wednesday, June 30 at 3 p.m.

    New! Grades 5 to 6 and 8 to 9 Transitions Program

    The "Get On My Level"  Transitions Program provides incoming 6th grade and incoming 9th grade students with the skills, confidence, and support to make a smooth transition to middle and high school.  

     
    Hosted at Farmington High School, this in-person programming is offered *free* to Farmington Public Schools students.  Hurry! Space is limited. See the flier for full dates and details.  This program is now full and registration is closed

    Elementary Summer School and Camp

    Unfortunately, at this time ELEMENTARY  SUMMER CLASSES ARE NOW FULL, and registration is closed. If you wish to be added to the waitlist, please complete this form: Elementary Waitlist

    We have something for everyone! Flexible in-person, partial day, half day, and full day in-person elementary summer programming options are available for students of all abilities in grades K-5!   Y-Care before and after care is also available.
