2021 Summer School Information

  • Full course offerings and registration information, including elementary, middle, and high school programs, are not yet available for Summer School 2021.  Please see below for dates and other details that are available at this time.   Please subscribe to the Farmington Public Schools listserv and check this web page in late April 2021 for more information.  
     

    High School Summer School

    For planning purposes, High School Summer School is tentatively planned to take place July 6 - August 2, 2021.  Virtual, self-paced options with in-person support will be available.   Families and students will have flexibility in how and when they complete their summer coursework.  

    Incoming 9th grade students are able to register for the following new credit summer courses:

    Physical Education (Lifetime Fitness; fulfilling P.E. requirement)
    Health
    Civics 
    Economics

    For students needing repeat credit high school credit, the following courses are available for summer 2021:

    Algebra 1
    Algebra 2
    Geometry A/B
    English Literature 9, 10, 11, 12
    Biology A/B
    Chemistry A/B

    Other repeat credit courses are available as well through the Edgenuity platform.

    Middle School Summer School and Camp 

    Virtual, self-paced options and in-person summer programming options will be available.  Full program and registration information is not yet available.   For planning purposes, programming is tentatively planned to take place July 6th - August 6th.

    Programs will be located at Farmington STEAM Academy or Farmington High School.

    Elementary Summer School and Camp

    In-person, partial day, half day, and full day in-person elementary summer programming options will be available.  Before and after care will also be available.  Students will be able to choose from a variety of programming, including:

    • Math Enrichment, Math Recovery
    • Hands-on science programs from Camp Invention
    • Literacy Enrichment
    • A variety of other fun and exciting elective classes for students of all abilities.  

    Session 1: June 21 - July 1, 

    Session 2: July 6-15.  

    Mondays-Thursdays.  No school on July 5th. 

    Programs will be located at Farmington STEAM Academy.

    Full program information and registration is not yet available.   This page will be updated in late April when final programming and registration information is ready.
