Section 105 Schools of Choice | K-8

Farmington Public Schools will accept Section 105 Schools of Choice applications from Oakland County ISD residents beginning Monday, April 10, 2017 through 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017 for openings in Kindergarten through eighth grade for the 2017-2018 school year. Detailed information regarding number of openings at each grade level and open buildings will be provided at the time of posting. In order to support the District’s goal of excellence and equity for all students, the granting of choice is balanced with the need to provide an equitable and appropriate enrollment in all of our schools.

Final placement will be determined based on current enrollment, projected enrollment, 2017-2018 staffing levels/ratios and the number of applications received for each school/level.

If the number of applications received for a given school/level exceeds the number of available openings, lotteries will be held on May 9, 2017 at 8:30 AM in the board room at the Lewis Schulman Administrative Center.

An online application will be available beginning April 10, 2017 on the Farmington Public Schools’ website,  For those without Internet access, a hard copy application will be available at the Lewis Schulman Administrative Center, 32500 Shiawassee, Farmington.

Applications for Section 105 (Oakland County ISD) Schools of Choice for the 2017-2018 school year must be submitted by 4:00 PM on Friday, April 28, 2017.  No applications will be honored after the April 28, 2017 deadline.
