We are proud that our three daughters have been a part of Farmington Public Schools for the past 11 years.  When we chose to buy a new home in recent years, we also chose to remain a part of the FPS community and have cherished our memories from their earliest days at Alameda to Beechview, Warner, East and now Hillside. The search for the perfect home as well as a school environment with strong academic expectations and a strong family focus intersected within the Hillside community and we couldn't be happier. 

Hillside celebrates its diverse student population and unites all of its students through its commitment to the Leader in Me program.  All students are encouraged to become leaders through programs such as the birthday crew, announcement team, and safety squad. Enrichment opportunities are plentiful, from coding classes to cartooning classes to math pentathlon, chess club and the Leader in Me choir.  Our supportive administration led by Mr. Kauffman not only nurtures the spirit of leadership and learning but excels at sharing successes and involving our Hillside families.  In addition to weekly updates, our Hillside "Friday Focus" email celebrates the great things that are happening at Hillside and gives ideas and resources to encourage family involvement at home. Hillside's passionate teaching staff fosters a love of learning and a commitment to support the needs of ALL students and their families. Our classrooms offer many outstanding enrichment opportunities within the school day to ensure that each student is positioned for their best success. We're proud to be Hillside Huskies!
