Our son, Kyle, has been a student in the Farmington Public School System since 1999.  He began school at the age of three at Fairview Early Childhood Center shortly after being diagnosed with autism.  We quickly found out how thorough FPS’ Special Education program is.  There have been and continue to be many proactive steps taken by the teachers, specialists, and paraprofessionals to ensure all students are included in school activities. Extra measures are taken by staff to make sure students can maximize their potential. Kyle has attended Hillside Elementary, East Middle, and graduated from Harrison High School.    It is very comforting for us to know that Kyle will finish up his education at Visions Unlimited. At Visions, Kyle is being exposed to different skills in school and jobs in the community. His interests have increased in many subjects. He loves school and work. He has formed enduring relationships over the years with other students and teachers. We will be eternally grateful for being a part of the FPS community and highly recommend it.
