Farmington Public Schools is headquartered in Farmington, Michigan in southern Oakland County. It’s Department of Facility Management, composed of 26 team members manages 1.7 million square feet of enclosed building space in 17 schools and three administrative facilities over 340 acres. The average age of FPS facilities is more than 45 years old.
Our Department supports schools in Custodial Services, HVAC, Maintenance, Grounds, Community Use, Move Management along with Code Compliance. This department is also responsible for management of its 2015 and now 2020 Bond Program in partnership with Plante Moran CRESA, McCarthy Smith and Wakely and Associates.
