Welcome to another great year at FCS!  My name is Angela Ristau. I have been teaching 12 years now most of which has been in early childhood here in Farmington. I have a master of arts in elementary education with endorsements in early childhood, science, social studies and history. I am part of a team that was recognized as a classroom of excellence and an appropriate model for other Oakland county teachers to observe the HighScope approach and curriculum. We will be participating in this lab school program sponsored by Oakland Schools again for the second year. I have been married for 34 years, with two sons in college; one studying mechanical engineering at Wayne State University and another at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids working on a business major. I have resided in Troy with my family and pug dog Rose for about 19 years. I am delighted to be starting another year here working with Farmington Hills parents and families.
