    Julie Shurtleff

Hi. My name is Julie Shurtleff. I will be teaching the M/W/F AM and T/TH AM 3 year old classes this year along with Miss Dena. The best part about working with 3 year olds is the endless hugs they give us, hand drawn pictures to put on the bulletin board, and the wonderful stories they have to tell us.

I would like to share with you a little bit about my family and myself. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Madonna University in 1980. I have been teaching preschool for 30 years and this is my 29th year with Farmington Public Schools. I am married and have 2 daughters- Erin 35 years old and Alison 31 1/2 years old.

     My name is Dena Keriko.

I love my job where I'm able to work with young students and make new friends. I'm a Chaldean from Iraq where I earned my Bachelor's degree in accounting and received a CDA (Child Development Associate) here in the USA. I'm married to my lovely husband and we have three kids, two boys and one girl. I live in Farmington Hills and I am proud to teach at Alameda Early Childhood.
