2026-2027 Openings
Section 105 Schools of Choice (Oakland County ISD Residents.)
Students applying for Section 105 Schools of Choice MUST reside in Oakland County, and the parent/guardian MUST be the homeowner of the student's residence.
- 20 openings at each level in Kindergarten through 9th grade
- Limited Space at Forest and Longacre Elementary (K-2nd only)
- Farmington Online: Remote & Virtual Programming (K-8th only)
Application Dates 2026-2027
- January 26, 2026 - Application posted
- February 13, 2026 - Applications due by 11:59 pm
- March 6, 2026 - Placements announced
Important Information:
- No 3rd-party affidavits will be accepted
- School of Choice does not apply to Farmington STEAM Academy
- A separate SCHOOL OF CHOICE application is required for each school of choice consideration. An application is required for each student in a household.
- Enrollment using the pre-enrollment module is not a school of choice application, nor is it a guarantee of admission to the district. This process is required in addition to completing the schools of choice application.
- Oakland County and Clarenceville Public School residents may apply for enrollment in the Farmington Public School District.

Steps for Applying:
- Read the 2026-2027 Section 105 Limited School of Choice Parent Letter
- Complete the 2026-2027 Section 105 Schools of Choice Online Application (Closed, Feb. 13, 2026)
- Complete the Pre-Enrollment Module (This step must be completed as part of the application process.)
- Provide Proof of Oakland County Residency (you may upload documents to the pre-enrollment module in step 5.)
- Please review the information on this "Enroll in School" page before starting the online pre-enrollment process.
