Kindergarten Campaign

Farmington Public Schools’ Kindergarten & Young 5s programs build the foundation for compassionate, curious, and confident learners!

At FPS, we believe in nurturing lifelong learners—starting from the very first day of school. Our Kindergarten and Young 5s programs provide a warm, welcoming environment where children:

  • Develop independence and self-confidence
  • Learn through play, exploration, and discovery
  • Grow as compassionate community members
  • Build resilience and problem-solving skills
  • Engage in hands-on, collaborative learning

Which program is right for your child?

  • Young 5s: A full-day program designed for children who need a little more time before Kindergarten, focusing on social-emotional growth and foundational learning through play.
  • Kindergarten: A full-day program that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and academic readiness, preparing students for lifelong success.

Ready to Enroll? Secure your child’s spot today.

Children can enter Kindergarten or Young 5s if they are 5 or older on September 12025. Parents can sign a waiver to enroll younger children into Kindergarten if they will be 5 before December 1, 2025.
