Here’s how it works in K–12 schools:

• Funding is need-based: Schools that qualify for Title I receive additional money to help close achievement gaps and support student learning.
• Supports for students: Title I funds can be used for extra reading or math help, small group instruction, classroom technology, tutoring programs, family engagement activities, and more.
• Focus on equity: The goal is to give every student the tools they need to meet grade-level standards and grow academically.
• Family involvement matters: Title I schools often host special events, workshops, or meetings to involve families in their child’s education—because your partnership helps students thrive!
