The Pupil Accounting Department helps support all Farmington Public Schools buildings through MiStar, our student information system, while staying current on all state pupil accounting requirements. Our team oversees online enrollment in MiStar, posts term report cards to the MiStar Parent Portal, assists teachers with gradebook issues, submits district calendars to Oakland Schools auditors and the state to ensure we meet annual day and hour requirements, and updates those calendars in MiStar. We also supervise and audit each school’s count day documentation, submit the electronic reports that generate the district’s state pupil foundation funding, manage other required state reports, and handle enrollments and scheduling for both the Virtual Learning Academy Consortium through Oakland Schools and our shared-time program with Our Lady of Sorrows School.
