Fall In-Person Registration & Placement Testing

 Week of 8/18/25 

Testing/Registration forms emailed the week of 8/5/25

Daytime testing begins at 9:00am

Evening testing begins at 6:00pm

 

Fall semester registration deadline: 9/5/25

After this date, all names will be added to

the waitlist for the Winter 2026 semester

Students must attend class 3-4 days per week

(Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced ESL):

MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, & THURSDAY

9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.  -  DATES: 9/2/25 - 12/18/25

ONLINE EVENING CLASSES--INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED LEVELS ONLY:

MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, & THURSDAY

6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.  -  DATES:  9/2/25 - 12/18/25

 

A voluntary $50 cash donation per student per semester or $100 for the full year/$50 cash donation for child care

for student activities is requested 

(for Thanksgiving celebration, graduation, class celebrations, etc.)

 

CAREER TRAINING EDUCATION (CTE) COHORTS

FALL COHORT:  FRIDAYS - 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. - 9/5/25 - 1/23/25

SPRING COHORT:  FRIDAYS - 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. - 1/30/25 - 6/12/25

CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE (CDA)

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (I.T.)

OFFICE & MEDICAL ASSISTANT (CMAA)

STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN BOTH ESL & CTE CLASSES

ADDITIONAL HOURS OUTSIDE OF CTE CLASS TIMES WILL BE NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE COURSE

ALLOW 3 HOURS FOR EVALUATION AND PLACEMENT

  • All students must have a valid photo I.D. such as a Michigan Driver's License, Michigan I.D. card, or Passport.
  • ALL STUDENTS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD OR OLDER.
  • Child care is not available during registration. Children under 16 years of age are not permitted in the building during registration.

 


 Child Care - Email Laura Dunn, laura.dunn@fpsk12.net, to be put on the Child Care waitlist 

  • Daycare children must be a minimum of 24 months and walking by 9/1/25 and cannot have turned 4 years old prior to 9/1/25.
  • A voluntary $50 cash donation per semester per child for activities and supplies is suggested.
  • Maximum capacity: 12 students
  • ESL Child Care is available daytime only M-TH 9:00am - 12:00pm
  • Parents must be enrolled in the adult ESL classes and must remain on-site

Program Purpose: To assist students whose first language is not English with the development of speaking, listening, reading, writing, and real-life English skills for success within the community.
