Free Tutoring

Farmington Public Schools (FPS) is partnering with Varsity Tutors for Schools to provide students with free access to additional learning tools through the Varsity Tutors for Schools Platform. 

Varsity Tutors for Schools offers a wide variety of tools including: 

  • 24/7 On-demand chat tutoring

  • On-demand essay review

  • Live academic and enrichment classes

  • SAT and ACT test preparation classes

  • Celebrity-led Starcourse classes

  • Self-study resources

  • College and career readiness resources

  • Adaptive assessments and personalized learning plans

  • Prerecorded enchantment classes and videos

Students can access the free resources only by logging in through Clever at Clever.com. Once students log in to their Clever account, they can access tools by clicking on the Varsity Tutors application. From here, students can explore the learning lab and discover all of the features the platform has to offer.

FAAPN - The following Saturdays are available for tutoring for grades 1-12: 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10 and 2/17 from 9am to 11am at FHS. Please click the link to register. 

High Dosage- Each school has high dosage tutoring. Please contact your school to find out the details specific to your school.

St John Lutheran Church- Will provide tutoring for students up to 5th grade. Contact St John to work out scheduling (248)474-0584

Additional Resources

Khan Academy -a free online resource that allows students to learn anytime, anywhere, with material that is appropriate for them. Does your student need extra practice in math, reading, or science? Khan Academy can help.

Brainfuse - This is a resource through the library. Click the link to register for your library card. Live tutoring is available Sunday-Saturday from 2-11 p.m. and all other resources can be accessed 24/7.
