Athletics

At Farmington Public Schools, athletics are an important part of the student experience, building confidence, character, and connection alongside strong academics. Our programs are designed to help students grow as teammates and individuals, whether they are trying out for a high school team or exploring new sports in middle school. High school athletics emphasize skill development, commitment, sportsmanship, and healthy competition, while middle school athletics focus on participation, learning the game, and enjoying being part of a team. Together, FPS sports help students develop lifelong habits of teamwork, leadership, and wellness.
About Us
Our high schools compete in the OAA (Oakland Activities Association) league. Our middle schools compete in the LVC (Lakes Valley Conference). We offer 30 boys and girls sports at the high School level, and 7 at the middle school level.
