Class Room 10

  • Jennifer Dixon, Eileen Monique and Gina Straub

Greetings!  I am Jen Dixon. This is my 3rd year with Farmington Early Childhood.  I have taught in a variety of disciplines in the last 20 years. I have a bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University and a masters in Environmental Education from Nova Southeastern University.  Put the two together and I love getting children outdoors and exploring!  Mud is my favorite accessory!  My family is made up of Louis, Emma, and Reese.  I love everything about nature except the cold!  My free time is spent running, hiking, camping, kayaking and dreaming about the day I can climb to the top of Mt. Rainier or Mt. Denali or Mt. Kilimanjaro!

I am Eileen Monique (Mrs Monique). I am your classroom parapro for Room 10.  I have worked at Farmington Public Schools for the past 5 years.  I enjoy working with preschoolers and I am excited to be in Room 10 this year. I have a B. S. in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University.  I live in Farmington with my husband, Andy, and my sons, Jay (20 junior at MTU ) and Sam (17, senior at Farmington High School ).  I enjoy walking Ginger, my dog, around town and refereeing soccer games. I also enjoy crocheting, sailing and skiing.

Hello! I am Gina Straub, and I am the Paraprofessional in Room 10 on MWF.  This is my third year at Farmington Early Childhood, and I am looking forward to assisting your child as they explore, learn, and grow this year.

I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Psychology and Employment Relations. I have been married to my husband David for 27 years, and we have two daughters, Blanca (17) and Victoria (14). When I’m not at school, my time is filled making memories with my family. We enjoy playing “catch” with our dog, traveling, playing games, and taking walks.
