    • Welcome to a great year at FEC!  My name is Angela Ristau. I have been teaching for many years now most of which has been in early childhood here in Farmington. I have a master of arts in elementary education with endorsements in early childhood, science, social studies and history. I am part of a team that was recognized as a classroom of excellence and an appropriate model for other Oakland county teachers to observe the HighScope approach and curriculum. My partner and I have completed additional courses towards certification as High Scope trainers of teachers. In 2013, I won the Sue Williams “Seeds of Promise Award” for a commitment to Early Childhood. This is an honor I hold very dear because I was nominated by my good friend and team teaching partner as well as other early childhood professional colleagues.

I have been married since 1981 to my husband, Ray and together we have two grown sons. Rigel and Evan.  I am delighted to be starting another year here working with Farmington Hills parents and families.
