Section 105 Limited Schools of Choice

For the 2023-2024 school year, there are openings as follows (except Farmington STEAM Academy).
Oakland County and Clarenceville Public School residents may apply for enrollment in the Farmington Public School District.
- 20 openings each in Kindergarten through 10th Grade
- Farmington Online Remote and Virtual Programming (K-8th grade only)
- 11th grade applications for the International Baccalaureate Programme - located at Farmington High School
- Options: IBDP (Diploma Programme) or IBCP (Career-related Programme)
Section 105 Application Dates 2023-2024
January 23, 2023 Application posted February 10, 2023 Applications are due by 11:59pm. March 3, 2023 Placements announced to families For IB applicants: You will need to complete an additional application for the IB Programme. Other academic/educational requirements must be met in order to be approved.
Minimum Requirements for Section 105 SOC - IBDP 11

Students must have successfully completed two consecutive years of Spanish, French, or Japanese during 9th and 10th grades.

Students must have successfully completed at least Algebra 1 and Geometry.

Students must have demonstrated academic success during 9th and/or 10th grades.

Students must have transportation to and from school, including for the semesters with a Zero Hour class starting at 7:10am.

IB Career-related Programme.
If your child is interested in the IBCP option, you will need to complete the Contact Request Form found here: https://forms.gle/4HESTTuxipJs1Xf49.
The International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) is one of two IB options designed for students who desire a combination of the rigor and benefits of an IB education with career-related learning through Farmington High School's Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs. This program places an emphasis on developing lifelong workplace readiness skills and applied knowledge, critical thinking and international mindedness consistent with the IB philosophy while exploring knowledge, skills, certifications and real-world experiences in the career pathway of your choice. Farmington High School has been authorized to offer the IB Career-related Programme since June, 2020 with the first graduate in 2022!

A separate SCHOOL OF CHOICE application is required for each school of choice consideration. An application is required for each student in a household.
Enrollment using the pre-enrollment module is not a school of choice application nor is it a guarantee of admission to the district.
This process is required in addition to completing the schools of choice application.
Steps for Applying:
1.) Read the 2023-2024 Section 105 Limited School of Choice Parent Letter
2.) Complete the 2023-2024 Section 105 Schools of Choice Online Application
3.) Provide Proof of Oakland County Residency (you may upload documents to the pre-enrollment module in step 5)
4.) Please review the information on this "Enroll in School" page before starting the online pre-enrollment process.
5.) Complete the Pre-Enrollment Module
