Jessica Logan/Stephanie Amend

my name is Miss Jessica, and I am the Lead GSRP teacher in Room 20. I am so excited for this upcoming school year. I have over ten years of both volunteer and professional experience in the early childhood field. I graduated from Baker College with my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. I also work as an Early Childhood Consultant to help other professionals and centers with their growth and development. I truly love working with children. It is my personal belief that these early childhood years lay the foundation for the rest of their lives. I consider it to be a privilege to be a part of these fundamental years. I am looking forward to meeting and developing a relationship with each one of you as parents and each of your children. Outside of school, I am a volunteer and I am a caregiver for my grandmother. I also mentor children up to the age of nineteen. I love to swim, write poetry, cook, and spend time with family and friends. If at any time you have questions, comments, or concerns, don’t hesitate to let me know. I am so ecstatic to get this school year started and getting to know all of you.

My name is Stephanie Amend and I work in Room 20. I feel very privileged to work here at FECC with exceptional teachers who are dedicated to Early Childhood. Teaching has been my profession for over 20 years.  It is very rewarding for me to see how children progressively learn new skills, develop friendships and become independent and confident individuals. I am married to my husband Chris and we have 2 grown children, Olivia and Kyle. I also have 2 pugs that fill our house with laughter everyday. I enjoy walking my dogs, yoga, and cooking. I am looking forward to an exciting year with your child.
