IBCP Personal & Professional Skills I 19212A-IB The Personal & Professional Skills 1 (PPSI) This course is a required course for junior IBCP candidates and is designed to encourage the development of transferable attitudes, skills and strategies for college and career readiness. Five central themes will be integrated through the course content including: personal development, intercultural understanding, effective communication, thinking processes, applied theics to support the career-related study. Development of the IB Learner Profile traits will be emphasized and time will be given to promote successful completion of the IBCP Core (reflective project, service learning and language development) and provide for the development of skills necessary to become active lifelong learners. Prerequiste: Students must be an IBCP candidate to take this course.
CREDIT: 0.5 TYPE: Regular GRADE:11 IBCP Personal & Professional Skills II 19212B-IB The Personal & Professional Skills II (PPSII) course is designed to introduce students to college and career readiness skills and is aimed at encouraging the development of transferable attitudes, skills and strategies for present and future academic and workplace success. IBCP Learner Profile traits will be emphasized as well as the development of personal qualities required of business and industry for career success. This course will support students in their career-related studies, serve as a link for the IBCP Core components and provide for the development of skills necessary to become active lifelong learners. Five central themes will be integrated through the course content including: personal development, intercultural understanding, effective communication, thinking processes, applied ethics and the reflective project.
