Web Design

  • Web Design 02006
    Students develop skills to produce web-ready communications, learn graphic design principles, and website and app development. Projects focus on a variety of graphical images, logos, banners, web sites, web photo albums and interactive graphics. Students will be exposed to the capabilities and structure of HTML and CSS, and will design and construct web sites and will develop graphics. Students will also learn about Search Engine Optimization.  **Pathway: Business, Management, Marketing & Technology
    COURSE NOTE: Combine with completion of 02007 - Advanced Web Design to complete the state-approved formal CTE program for 1.0 exchange credit in Science or World Language or Visual, Performing & Applied Arts.  Articulation may be available upon completion of this course.  Articulated credit is available through OCC and Henry Ford College if a student takes both Web Design and Advanced Web Design and passes both with a B or better.

    Advanced Web Design 02007
    Students expand their skills for producing web-ready communications and address design challenges by working collaboratively to design, develop and maintain websites and apps. Students will design projects for client reviews and develop solutions to solve specific challenges. Students will also develop a design portfolio.  **Pathway: Business, Management, Marketing & Technology
