Graduation Attire
Wear cool clothes under your gowns!It can get warm in the arena.You will be able to keep your cap and gowns after graduation.
Women—A dress or skirt and blouse is most appropriate.Dress slacks are also acceptable.If you must carry a purse, make it small enough to fit under your gown.No storage is available for purses, etc.
Men—dress slacks and shirt, please—tie is optional.
Everyone—no tennis shoes, please!!
Your graduation cap should be properly worn “flat” on your head!
No alterations to your cap (including the mortar board) or gown are allowed.
NFHS graduates are to wear your officialgold tassel on your cap.It will be in your graduation “packet” that you will receive at the end of graduation practice.Service Learning cords will also be in this packet.Tassels are worn to the left side of your cap.
Arrive early and take pictures before graduation.No parents or pictures on the floor of the arena.A professional photographer will take your picture as you receive your diploma.
