Senior Calendar

May 25th - Seniors' Last Day
May 30th - Senior Prom at the Dearborn Inn
June 7th - Mandatory Graduation Breakfast & Practice in the Cafeteria at 8:00 am
June 7th - Seniors' Honors Night in the Auditorium at 7:00 pm
June 10th - Graduation Ceremony at Compuware Arena (Beck Road and M-14 in Plymouth) Open seating, no tickets needed
June 10th - Senior All Night Party at 11:00 pm Tickets $60 through January 13th, then $80 through June 8th, and $100 at the door.

YOU MAY PURCHASE  HONOR CORDS:

Honor Cord ($8.00)  is earned with a GPA of 3.000-3.499. 
–
High Honor Cord ($16.00) is earned with a GPA of 3.500-4.000.

Be sure you’ve ordered your cap & gown through Graduate Services  734.699.4757.

 

Note:  ANY FEES/OBLIGATIONS OWED MUST BE PAID IN FULL TO MRS. BERLING IN THE MAIN OFFICE OR YOUR CAP & GOWN AND DIPLOMA WILL NOT BE ISSUED TO YOU.


Graduation Attire

Wear cool clothes under your gowns!  It can get warm in the arena.  You will be able to keep your cap and gowns after graduation.

Women—A dress or skirt and blouse is most appropriate.  Dress slacks are also acceptable.  If you must carry a purse, make it small enough to fit under your gown.  No storage is available for purses, etc.

Men—dress slacks and shirt, please—tie is optional. 

Everyone—no tennis shoes, please!!

Your graduation cap should be properly worn “flat” on your head! 

No alterations to your cap (including the mortar board) or gown are allowed.

NFHS graduates are to wear your official gold tassel on your cap.  It will be in your graduation “packet” that you will receive at the end of graduation practice.  Service Learning cords will also be in this packet.  Tassels are worn to the left side of your cap.

Arrive early and take pictures before graduation.  No parents or pictures on the floor of the arena.  A professional photographer will take your picture as you receive your diploma.
