Thanks to all of you that have purchased a Booster Club membership this year!  Your support is very much needed and appreciated! If you have purchased a membership, but have not received your FHS directory, your directory is available for pick-up in the FHS main office (note:  your student may pick it up).

Also note that we will be selling memberships during the parent/teacher conference night, October 21st.  Please be sure to look for our table.  Booster Club memberships will be on sale for $15 cash or check.  Thanks again for all your support!

Welcome to the Falcon Society!

Founded in October of 2000, the Falcon Society was initially established to review the general needs of Farmington High School’s outdoor and support facilities (press box, concession, bleachers, etc).  Since that time, and with the passing of the outdoor facility bond, the scope of Falcon Society has expanded to include improvement to many other areas both inside and outside the High School and to purchase needed equipment for various groups, teams and clubs.  Falcon Society is unique to Farmington High School.  Falcon Society membership includes parents of Farmington High students, alumni, businesses and community members who are committed to the ongoing needs and projects that arise on a yearly basis at our high school. Some recent purchases are:

  • New auditorium sound system for assemblies and performances
  • Varsity scoreboards for the baseball and softball fields
  • Padded team chairs for basketball, volleyball, and wrestling teams
  • Front lobby mural of “Falcon Forest”
  • Soccer practice equipment
  • Discus cage and net for track and field
  • “Flyers” hockey team on ice logo

The list of improvements and purchases in the past 7 years is extensive and not limited to those above.  Some projects have been accomplished through cost sharing, others funded solely with monies raised by the Falcon Society.  The ‘Falcon Open’ golf outing held in May, the Gala Dinner Dance and Auction in November, the sale of Commemorative Bricks for Falcon Plaza, and assorted other fundraising events have helped us accomplish this.  The time, effort, creativity and ingenuity of many parents, students and faculty volunteers along with the support of over 700 businesses and individuals donating funds, services and products has made this possible.  The Falcon Society is an on-going effort to help create a solid foundation for the future of all Farmington High School’s students and the community by providing ideas and financial support to school projects and needs.
