Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ as soon as possible after January 1, 2012.
Federal student aid is limited, so students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA right away.

SAVING MONEY FOR COLLEGE IN MICHIGAN
It's never too late to start saving for college.  Being informed on the options can help save a significant amount.  If you are considering a Michigan Education Trust (MET) contract, be aware that the purchase price will increase for contract purchases after January 31, 2009.  Additional information about the MET can be found at www.setwithmet.com.   Information about the Michigan Education Savings Program (MESP) can be found at www.misaves.com
