Information on School Board Election - November 2009

Eight candidates vie for school board seats on November 3

On Tuesday, November 3, voters will be asked to fill two six-year
term positions ending December 31, 2015 and two four-year
term positions ending December 31, 2013.

Those who have verified as candidates for the two six-year positions are incumbents Sheilah Clay and Gary Sharp.
Those who have verified as candidates for the two four-year positions are Priscilla Brouillette (incumbent), Cindy Flynn, Umesh Gandhi, Dennis Homant, Frank Reid (incumbent) and Steven Stimson.

The Farmington Area PTA Council will be hosting a School Board Candidate Forum on Monday, October 5 at 7 p.m. at the Lewis Schulman Administrative Center, 32500 Shiawassee, Farmington. The Forum is open to the public and will be cablecast LIVE on TV-10. There is no school for students on Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
